Who runs this operation
Leonid Kovalchuk founded Yolandro after spending twelve years working as a commercial voice actor and narration specialist. He recorded voiceovers for regional advertising campaigns, corporate training videos, and audiobook publishers across Eastern Europe before transitioning to full-time instruction.
The decision to build an online platform came from repeated requests for remote coaching from actors outside major cities. Leonid developed the curriculum by documenting every technique he used in his own commercial work, then testing each module with small groups before recording final lecture versions.
He still accepts occasional voice acting projects to maintain direct contact with current industry demands. This ongoing professional work informs course updates and ensures students learn skills that remain relevant in a changing market.
